Wongan Hills Road Infrastructure Project
Drainage extension and headwall installation on a Wheatbelt corridor.
This regional road infrastructure project upgraded the drainage systems along an important Wheatbelt transport corridor, improving stormwater management and road safety while keeping the route open for the agricultural community that depends on it.
C&S Drainage Contractors extended and enhanced the existing drainage network: extending pipes and culverts to lift water-flow capacity, integrating new components with the existing infrastructure, and installing both precast headwalls — for standardised durability and efficient installation — and in-situ headwalls where site conditions called for custom construction. End treatments were finished for proper flow control and long-term erosion protection.
All works were delivered on an active regional road, with traffic management coordinated throughout and every drainage modification completed to the required specifications and standards — precision work that keeps water moving and the corridor safe.
