Water & Sewer Infrastructure
HDPE, MSCL and RCP pipelines — trenched, tested and commissioned for decades of reliable service.
Built for 50 years of service.
C&S Drainage Contractors delivers the water and sewer infrastructure that forms the backbone of reliable utility services across Western Australia — the complete spectrum of water and wastewater systems, from residential developments to major industrial facilities including fertiliser plants, mining facilities and processing operations.
Installations use materials and techniques designed for a minimum 50-year service life: proper bedding and backfill, corrosion protection and precise grade control, with every system pressure-tested, flow-tested, flushed and disinfected before commissioning. All work complies with Australian Standards, WSAA codes, utility authority specifications and environmental protection requirements.
What the scope covers.
Pipe material systems
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) for flexibility and chemical resistance, mild steel cement lined (MSCL) for high-pressure and industrial applications, and reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) for heavy-duty, high-flow systems — each selected for project conditions and long-term performance.
Water distribution
Main distribution lines for residential and commercial developments, pressure mains designed to specific flow and pressure requirements, and connections integrating new infrastructure with existing networks — allowing for future capacity and fire protection where required.
Gravity sewer systems
Residential collection networks, commercial and industrial sewer mains and trunk sewers — precise grade control for optimal flow, joint integrity against infiltration and exfiltration, and strategically placed access points for maintenance.
Pressure sewer & pumps
Where gravity isn’t feasible: pump station integration, pressure main installation and control systems for reliable operation under varying demand, with comprehensive testing and commissioning.
Testing & commissioning
Pressure, flow and joint-integrity testing to Australian Standards and utility authority requirements, systematic flushing and disinfection of water systems, leak detection, and full documentation for authority approval.
Coordination & environment
Utility integration with electrical and telecommunications services, proper separation and protection between systems, groundwater protection during construction, and restoration of disturbed areas.
